We spotted this visitor in our backyard a couple of weeks ago. There's a good reason for those striking black and white colours. I bet this is the character who woke us up the other night with an imposing odour.
These little fellows are quite lovely -- like cats, except when they are frightened they let loose with the stink bomb. Friend of mine got one (picked up off a west end street) when it was a baby and kept it for almost 8mos as a pet. Lovely critter, very gentle and curious. But fortunately, before they had to make the decision to 'dearoma' it, the little guy left home and went back to the wild. (his name was Boris and he liked beer!)
